Organizations wishing to apply for funding from the Youth Philanthropy Initiative in 2017 may download the application using the link below.Last year YPI members awarded nearly $20,000 in charitable support to organizations providing  services to Knox County youth, from 0 to age 18.

The Youth Philanthropy Initiative is composed of students representing all Knox County High Schools, who are dedicated to learning the skills associated with operating and funding non-profit organizations. Its grant making efforts are totally student-driven and distinct from the unrestricted grant program of  the board of directors of the Community Foundation of Mount Vernon & Knox County. Therefore it is not unusual for projects to be funded by both programs.

Applications for YPI grants in any amount up to $2,000 may be submitted through Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, following the instructions printed on the application.
