Scholarship CertificateCommunity Foundation Executive Director Sam Barone has announced that applications for both the Traditional Student Scholarship Program and the Special Scholarship Program are available now on this website by clicking this link.

The deadline for Traditional Scholarship Applications is February 18, while Special Scholarship deadlines vary according to the scholarship sought.

The Foundation cautions scholarship seekers to adhere carefully to published scholarship application deadlines, which are rigidly enforced by the Community Foundation. Though several of the more than 100 scholarships awarded by the Foundation are not determined on a financial need basis, applicants are advised to submit the Student Financial Profile, which includes FAFSA data, to qualify for the maximum number of scholarships.

The Community Foundation expects to award more than $700,000 in college scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year. Awards are generally announced at the senior award ceremonies for this year’s graduates, and by mail for successful applicants already enrolled in college. Questions about any of the Foundation’s scholarship programs may be emailed to [email protected], or addressed by phone during business hours at 740.392.3270.
