The Youth Philanthropy Internship empowers college students to connect with Knox County while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience with local nonprofit organizations. Through this 8-week paid internship, students contribute to real community impact while developing leadership, project management, and nonprofit skills.

Will you be a college junior or senior in the 2026-2027 school year? Spend your summer doing work that matters.

What You’ll Gain:

      • $15/hour for up to 200 hours of work

      • Real-world experience with a nonprofit

      • Leadership and professional development

    • Deeper connection to your community

Interns have worked on:

      • Community events and outreach

      • Website updates and digital storytelling

      • Video interviews to highlight community impact

      • Surveys and assessments with local businesses

    • Marketing and social media campaigns

Host nonprofits must:
