Before applying for a grant through the Knox County Foundation, please review both the FAQs and Guidelines for Grantmaking for helpful information on the grantmaking process. Below are descriptions for the Small and Major grants. Also included is the Knox County OneOhio Grant provided through the Knox County Commissioners. All grant applications are accessed through the Knox County Foundation Online Grant Portal.

Small Grants

Organizations seeking funding for projects $10,000 or less are invited to complete the Small Grant Application. Applications are due for consideration on January 15th, April 15th, July 15th, and October 15th.

Major Grants

Organizations seeking funding for projects over $10,000 are invited to complete the Major Grant Application. Applications are due for consideration on January 15th and July 15th.

 

Knox County OneOhio Grants

Organizations seeking funding for projects or programs which support efforts that prevent, treat, and promote recovery from addiction—including opioid use, co-occurring substance use, and mental health condition should complete the Knox County OneOhio Grant Application. Organizations can request up to $25,000 and must focus on evidence-based or proven children and family support projects. These grants are made possible through the settlement dollars awarded to the county and are provided by the Knox County Commissioners.

Expressions of Intent (EOI) Forms are due on October 3rd. Applications are due for consideration on October 10th.
